It sounds like the issue may be in the control box. There is a way to troubleshoot the control box and that is by switching the control boxes from each recliner to the other. If the recliner that does not close now, closes with the opposite control box and vice versa, you will need to replace that control box.

The two most likely causes of a MaxxAir vent fan lid not opening or closing are either going to be a lift motor or operator failure. I recommend removing the motor and applying power directly to this to see if the shaft turns. To manually reset your Lippert Ground Control part # LC675817 you'll need to hold down the retract and enter buttons at the same time. I would also check the wiring with a digital multimeter # PT89ZR to ensure that you aren't losing power at the other jacks.
